Jonathan has been a headteacher of three schools over a period of 12 years and now works as a freelance educational faciltator specialising in supporting school across the UK with leadership development, learning culture, growth mindsets, metacognition, coaching and Philosophy for Children (P4C).
He regularly facilitates NPQH NPQSL and NPQML national leadership programmes through QTL at Winchester University.
He has written part of the Guernsey Curriculum and provided training for all Guernsey Schools on its implementation.
Jonathan regularly coaches headteachers and senior leaders in all phases on a 1:1 basis.
He believes strongly in equipping learners with a broad range of learning and thinking skills so they can flourish in the 21st century. Jonathan favours a constructivist approach to education and is passionate about facilitating high quality professional learning tht makes a real differene to the leaders, teachers and pupils that he works with.
In his spare time he has a keen interest in gardening, travel, cycling, chameleons, meditation, live music and vinyl and is a self-confessed cinema and sci-fi geek!
