Helping to empower leaders and learners to connect with the unique and evolving potential of who they are, where they are going and what they could be.

Barak Rosenshine's Principles of Instruction
Why I think this is such a powerful approach:-
* It is well grounded in three complementary and robust educational research sources.
* It is a relatively straightforward and easy to grasp and not overly complex or wordy.
The original paper was published in 2010 and then reprinted in 2012 as an article in
American Educator.
* It contains 10 clear steps as a teaching sequence, which link strongly to cognitive load theory.
* It is helpfully written as it clearly exemplifies what less effective teachers do and what more
effective teachers do at each stage. This is a helpful way of framing the research as what teacher
is not motivated to become a more effective practitioner?
